For the past few years, I’ve always thought the orange bits were char siew chicken. But recently I found out that it is “faked chicken” i.e. it is made of soya flour which means this kolo mee is a vegetarian meal! But seriously, if you don’t know you won’t be able to tell as the texture is like the real flesh of a chicken.
