I'm an internet addict and this is where I share the things I've found online. Be it tech news, gadgets, hollywood gossips, designs or anything random that sparks my interest - kinda like my public bookmark. Occasionally, I'll share my thoughts on certain issues, my travels/adventures in foreign land and what's happening (promos/events) in Brunei. I hope for us to share the knowledge we've learned through feedbacks and comments from all so that we can help educate each other in many ways. Please feel free to ask anything and if you think you have something to share with everyone, please do get in-touch with me. I'm always game when it comes to a win-win arrangement.

In 2010 I was awarded as the 2nd most popular blogger in Borneo by Borneo Colors.

If you have any feedback, comments, suggestions or networking proposals for this site, please do get in-touch with me. I would be happy to entertain your enquiries

The Ulu Ulu Experience.

Some of photos I took on that trip, compiled all nicely by Tripwow. You guys should give it a try, it’s pretty easy to create one. Anyway, it was a truly amazing experience and I believe it’s my first ever KNK, Kenali Negara Kitani trip. I’ve always read about it and seen photos of it online and in magazines, but I could have never imagine how wonderful it really is to be there.

I went with a group of 10 and our package includes return boat ride to temburong, private bus to Batang Duri, return long boat ride to Ulu Ulu Resort, breakfast/lunch/high-tea/dinner, jungle trekking, night trekking, canopy walk, water activities (canoe & tubing), 1 night accommodation and a personal tour guide (ask for Zul) that is with us 24/7! Cost per person? B$220.00. It might sound a bit high for within-the-country trip, but it’s worth it and come to think of it, it’s quite a steal! Dinner was a BBQ of meat and seafood. They even set-up the karaoke for us.

The 1260 flight of stairs up the hill to reach the Canopy Walk top is crazy challenging. We opted out of the see-the-sunrise option which needs you to wake up around 4:30am but instead started our walk about 9am. I had to psyche-up myself to climb up the 60 meters high tower as I have a fear of heights. Took me a while but I got to the top, all fear was gone, although in my head I imagine the tower breaking into two! Anyway, the view is amazing on top, one i wouldn’t mind seeing again.

I really recommend the trip. We had so much fun that we’re planning to go again. Sitting in the river while the cool water flows around you brought the meaning of chilling by the river on to a new level. Contact Sunshine Borneo Tours for details and if you need further convincing, check out the Ulu Ulu National Park website here.
