Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.
All this while, I’ve never really understand why Justin Bieber is such a big deal. Or what makes him so special. All I know he was famous on YouTube and was signed-up by Usher and that girls go crazy for the way he flicks his hair. After watching this movie, I have to admit his success is no fluke, not manufactured or because of his looks entirely. He has real talent from a very young age. The type of talent one is born with.
You’ll see how determine he is to succeed and the hard work he put in to get to where he is now. This feature movie is quite inspiring to say the least. Humorous to the non-fans when shown clips of young girls who are so obsessed by him and even ready to be his wife! I gotta give him props for committing 100% to his craft. He is doing what he loves best, making music, entertaining millions of people and of course making big money too. How many of us can wake up in the morning and say “Oh I love my job so much, I can’t wait to go to work!” I always envy people who finds passion in their work as not many of us will be that lucky in our lifetime. Being a marketing guy in a social networking era, I sure would love to be on his team and be in the madness of it all.
One other thing to note is that Justin Bieber is a product of the Internet, mainly by sites like YouTube and Twitter. He was discovered by his millions of fans even before he was a recording artist. And he definitely uses social networking to his advantage to connect with his fans. His stardom is not viral like one Rebecca Black. His parent doesn’t need to pay some record producer to cut him a single and auto-tune his voice to the songs he sang. Justin Bieber is the real deal. There I’ve said it, so bite me.
Having said all that, I’m in no way Bieber-ized. His songs are catchy no doubt, but it’s nothing I wanna listen to daily. All I am saying is that I respect his determination, his never say never attitude, the hard work he has put into it and the sacrifies he had made to be where he is. And when you’re 16 years old and you sold out Madison Square Garden in 22 minutes, that is just sick! I highly recommend the movie, in 3D if you’re really a big fan. My rating: 7/10.
